When compared to marble, the strength of the granite is twice higher. Hardness is provided by the presence of quartz. Granite is cut and polished by means of cutting diamond.

In contrast to marble, granite products do not lose their operating characteristics and physical configuration when used under temperature gradient of more than +212°F (+100°C).

Granite is not afraid of frost -76°F (-60°C) and heat of +122°F (+50°C), which is very important in the conditions of a non-permanent continental climate.
Even in the most extreme conditions, products of granite look perfectly and retain their strength. In addition, granite is less subjected to mycosis than marble.
Another advantage of granite is its fire safety. The melting point is +1292°F (+700°C).
